Pretty Wings

Posted by BrandiDelise on Wednesday, May 20, 2009,
We recant seeking closure of the relationship with ourselves that was left behind. We become "Mrs." sometimes unknowingly or knowing so with reservation, only to feel a loss of self and the ability to fully spread our Pretty wings.

To...

A player of chess
so
intrigued by
me
feeling the wind in the hair of
a head so high too
smart, too savvy too

the game
the surprise to me
left prize-less

Lately, I've been pissed off! Well, not actually. Due to the growing support of the theory that I am judgmental, I have come to, at least consider the validity of the accusation. However, I can not forsake the opportunity to bring attention to the fact that by calling me judgmental, my accusers are in fact judging me and therefor judgmental in their own right. Furthermore, are we not all judgmental to one extent or another? Judging people, and the things around us have essential benefits in l...
